All new non-handicapped participants will use the Callaway Scoring System until they have completed three (3) tournament rounds. The USGA has established handicap rules. The 10 best rounds of your most recent 20 rounds are used in a formula to set your official handicap.
The course rating is subtracted from each of the 10 best scores and the results are averaged, and then multiplied by 1.0. Delete the decimals and you will have your handicap. If fewer than 20 scores are available then a percentage of the scores are used. See USGA for further details.
